Corrections policy
We publish fast and correct faster. If we got something wrong, the record shows it — corrections are made in the open, not silently edited away.
How corrections work
- Errors of fact are corrected as soon as verified, with a dated correction note appended to the story.
- Substantive corrections are logged at the foot of the article with the date and what changed.
- Typographical and formatting fixes are made without note.
- If a story's central claim fails verification, the story is withdrawn with an explanatory note, not deleted.
Sourcing & verification method
Every story carries a claim table mapping each factual claim to its source, verification date and archive snapshot where available. Sources include primary filings, trade press and named analysts; we prefer primary records over aggregation.
